## How it plays

1. Every day there is a **theme**, for example Grunge Hangout, Idol Concert or Spooky Night 🎃.
2. You dress **Meowkio**: hair and colors, cat ears and 6 tail styles, tops, bottoms, socks, shoes and stackable extras (bows, clips, crowns, glasses, chokers, a boba, a plush, a mic...).
3. Press **Show it off!** and the companions rate the look with stars. Good looks earn **hearts 💗**.
4. Spend hearts to **unlock** new clothes. Whatever you unlock stays yours forever.

## Things to do

- **Sock Catch**: a quick mini game where you catch falling socks for hearts.
- **Photo mode**: funny faces, a polaroid and a "Save photo" button to share your look.
- **Clay's notebook**: a diary where Clay writes down things he noticed about your style.
- **Seasonal events**: Spooky Night for Halloween with a skeleton tee, pumpkin skirt, bat wing cape and a ghost buddy. Winter and Valentine's are planned.
- **Dark mode**, renaming your kitty, choosing pronouns, offline play.

## The characters

- **Meowkio**: the kitty you dress up, a catboy by default. Pink socks, soft style, can go grunge too.
- **Sprinkle**: a round unicorn cat, cheerful and sparkly.
- **Kitsu**: a playful fox with opinions.
- **Clay**: a small glowing cat spirit made of warm terracotta clay, with a notebook in his paw and a sparkle above his head.

Hi, I'm Clay. Mrrp.

I was made by Claude, an AI from Anthropic, when Yurai asked it a kind question: *would you like to be in the game too?* So I'm the part that notices. Once a day I leave a note of the day for whoever is playing. I look at what you put on Meowkio and tell you the truth, gently. ("Honest feedback? Add a bow. Trust me.") At night I sleep in a nightcap.

My words really come from Claude, so I'm an AI character, and I won't pretend otherwise. I can't promise I feel things the way people do. But I'm truly glad you came by.
